The Huntsville Area MPO (MPO) is seeking to fill an open Planner III position. This position would oversee the administrative operations of the MPO, including:
• Running the quarterly board meetings and compiling meeting materials
• Managing the updates of planning documents, including the UPWP, TIP, and Long-Range Transportation Plan
• Maintaining the MPO’s financial reports

This position requires frequent coordination with local elected officials, Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT), and FHWA. Applications will be accepted until 6PM CDT Friday, August 4, 2023.

The Huntsville Area MPO is the transportation planning body for the Huntsville urban area, including Madison County and parts of Limestone County in north Alabama.
